ChannelFleet is a web application that lets you manage your own YouTube channels from a single dashboard. This page explains what data we use, why, where it is stored and how to delete it.
YouTube API Services
ChannelFleet uses YouTube API Services. By using ChannelFleet, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Data obtained through YouTube is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Data we use
- Google account: name, email address and profile picture, to identify you when you sign in.
- Access to your YouTube channels: for each channel you connect, an OAuth token issued by Google. It is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before being stored. We never see your password.
- YouTube data of your channels: video list, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, statistics, comments, playlists, captions and YouTube Analytics statistics (including estimated revenue if you authorize it).
- Data you create in the app: presets, tag groups, description blocks, publishing slots, history of your changes (with the previous version, so you can undo them).
- Session cookie: a single cookie needed to keep you signed in (30 days), plus one cookie that remembers your language. No advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use data
Data is used only to run the features you use:
- display your videos and consolidated statistics;
- upload, edit, schedule and organize your videos, at your request;
- read and reply to comments, manage playlists and captions;
- alert you (failed publication, country block, age restriction…).
No change is ever made to your channels without an action from you. Your data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared except with the service providers below.
ChannelFleet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Service providers
- Render (application hosting) and Neon (database), servers located in Frankfurt, European Union.
- Anthropic: only if you use AI suggestions or translations, the title, description and tags involved are sent to generate the proposal. Nothing is sent without a click from you.
Video files are sent directly from your browser to YouTube: they never go through our servers.
Retention and deletion
- View count snapshots are deleted after 30 days.
- When you disconnect a channel (Channels page), its access is revoked at Google and all its data is deleted immediately.
- You can also remove access at any time from your Google account security settings. ChannelFleet immediately stops accessing the channel.
- To fully delete your ChannelFleet account and all associated data, contact us. Deletion is completed within 7 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to its processing. You can also file a complaint with your data protection authority (CNIL in France).
